Griptilikins Grips: Model Guide
The Griptilikins is an all new grip design I have developed and manufacture in my shop for the Griptilian Series folding knives made by Benchmade Knives. The original Benchmade pocket clip may still be mounted on either side of the new grips for left or right handed users.
My Griptilikins grips will fit Benchmade's model 550, 550HG, 551 and 552 without any modification to the original knife.
My Griptilikins grips will NOT fit the model 553 with tanto shaped blades.
There are 2 ways to purchase a Griptilikins:
• 1. Send me your Griptilian knife and I will install the conversion and return your knife. This is good for buyers who have no idea how to take apart a Griptilian. There is no extra charge for installing the grips on your knife. The original grip scales and screws will be returned and the knife will not be permanently modified. The original Griptilian grips may be re-installed at any time.
• 2. You may order the Griptilikins grip set from me and install it yourself. If you can not only take your knife apart but can also put it back together, this is the way to go!

Standard Color Guide
The Griptilikins Grips are machined from glass fiber plastic (GFK) laminates. Black, Ranger Green, Cyan Blue and Orange are imported from the USA and commonly called G-10. Pale Green and Swimming Pool Green are made from much stronger, harder GFK laminates (G-11) used for computer mainboards and electrical components.
All Griptilikins grips include a spacer machined from AlMgSi1 6082 T6 Aluminium alloy with a hard, black anodized surface.
